Join OSM Thome as Marine Teamleader (FPSO) in Vitoria, Brazil. Lead the marine team on board a tanker FPSO/FSO, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations. This is a hands-on role for an experienced offshore mariner who enjoys working with people and equipment in a busy field.
Key responsibilities- Lead and supervise the marine control room and deck teams
- Plan and oversee all marine operations, including station keeping and cargo/offloading support
- Monitor marine systems and respond to alarms and emergencies
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with company and flag/state regulations
- Coordinate with offshore installation management, deck, cargo and engine teams
- Train and mentor junior marine personnel
- Relevant deck officer license with FPSO/FSO or tanker experience
- Proven experience in a senior marine or MCRO role offshore
- Strong knowledge of marine systems, cargo operations and safety procedures
- Good leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work on a rotational offshore schedule in Brazil
