Copywriter - Marketing

We're looking for a skilled and conversion-driven Copywriter (Remote) to join the Marketing team at High Tide Inc., one of the largest cannabis and accessories companies in the world. With global brands like Daily High Club, Smoke Cartel, Grasscity, and Canna Cabana, we're a leading e-commerce retailer in cannabis accessories and CBD.

This role is ideal for a writer with a strong background in D2C email marketing, who also has range — someone who can create scroll-worthy subject lines, persuasive in-email copy, and contribute to broader marketing touchpoints like SMS campaigns, paid ads, and landing pages.

If you've written for multiple brands, tested and optimized messaging based on performance, and can pivot between voices easily, this role is for you.

You must reside in Brazil. 

Important: While this role is open to candidates across any location in Brazil, High Tide brands do not operate or market in Brazil. This role will support our global markets in North America and Europe.

What You'll Do

• Write compelling, on-brand email marketing copy for multiple D2C brands.
• Develop and test subject lines, headers, and CTAs to increase open and click-through rates.
• Collaborate with the Email Marketing and Design teams to align visuals and messaging.
• Contribute to A/B testing strategy, learn from performance data, and apply insights to future sends.
• Adapt your writing style to suit different tones across wellness, lifestyle, and cannabis categories.
• (Bonus) Bring your copy skills to other marketing collateral such as paid ads, landing pages, SMS, pop-ups, or any other touchpoints that support the customer journey.
• (Bonus) Support longer-form content like articles, product guides, or blog-style content
• (Bonus) Help document or refine tone-of-voice guidelines if needed.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in copywriting for D2C or e-commerce brands.
• A portfolio that highlights high-performing email campaigns (subject lines, body copy, CTAs).
• Experience managing copy for multiple brands at the same time.
• Comfortable with A/B testing principles and performance-focused writing.
• Excellent English writing skills with attention to clarity, tone, and persuasion.
• Responsive, collaborative, and able to handle quick turnarounds in a remote team.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with Klaviyo and Figma (not mandatory).
• Experience writing for SMS campaigns, paid social, display ads, or blog-style content.
• Knowledge of the cannabis, wellness, or lifestyle industries.
