Join Cali as a Finance Associate – Settlements and Play a Key Role in Our Financial Operations
Cali is growing, and we're looking for a Finance Associate to strengthen our team in São Paulo. As we continue to scale our operations, we need a detail-oriented and efficient professional to manage our settlements process. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Settlement Operations: Oversee the daily settlement process, ensuring that all payment transactions are properly accounted for and reconciled.
  • Monitor Payment Flows: Track and report on cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of payments across various channels, including Pix, Boleto, and card payments.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile transaction records, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors in the payment cycle.
  • Coordinate with Partners: Work closely with internal teams (Compliance, Finance, and Operations) as well as external partners to ensure settlement accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of settlements, preparing detailed reports on payment transactions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support Audits: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial and operational documentation.
  • Establish and Maintain Relationships with Banks: Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international banks to facilitate smooth settlement processes and ensure the financial stability of operations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to the settlement process to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in finance or payments processing, with a focus on settlements.
  • Strong knowledge of the payments industry, including card payments, Pix, Boleto, and reconciliation processes.
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
