Job Summary:

The
Service Performance Specialist
supports the Operations and Projects teams in managing and optimizing service contracts throughout their lifecycle. This includes assisting with contract structuring, bid preparation, and KPI implementation to ensure that all services are delivered in line with contractual, operational, and performance requirements.

The role acts as a key interface between Operations, SCM, Legal, and Finance, ensuring contract compliance, tracking service performance, and driving continuous improvement in supplier management and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management and Compliance

  • Manage the lifecycle of service contracts, from development to execution, and amendments.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual terms, KPIs, and company standards.
  • Liaise with Legal and Operations to resolve contractual issues and ensure compliance.

Performance and KPI Monitoring

  • Implement and track KPIs for service delivery performance.
  • Analyze results and support corrective actions for non-conforming services.
  • Advise managers on underperforming vendors and improvement opportunities.

Bid and Strategy Support

  • Provide contractual input during bid preparation and proposal reviews.
  • Ensure alignment of bids with client requirements and company policies.
  • Support project communication strategies (letters, notices, formal correspondence).

Procurement and Vendor Support

  • Collaborate with SCM and Operations in vendor selection and evaluation.
  • Support contract frameworks that ensure cost efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Participate in vendor performance assessments and improvement actions.

Knowledge Sharing and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate contract records and performance documentation.
  • Prepare reports on contractual compliance and KPI performance.
  • Act as focal point for contract-related inquiries and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5–10 years' experience in contract management, procurement, or similar roles in oil & gas, maritime, or subsea industries.
  • Experience with negotiating and managing complex contracts.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese, and in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of industry vendor landscape and KPI-based contract management.
  • Experience with contract management systems and performance tracking tools.
