• Demonstrates creativity, foresight, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and solving engineering problems during the development and application of new and improved products and processes.

• Evaluates proposed theoretical results to meet design requirements.
• Serves as a technical expert to other employees to solves complex system equations and develops custom equations to simplify complex problems by using advanced engineering tools.

• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross- disciplinary teams.
• Significantly contributes to Halliburton's Intellectual Property portfolio by delivering innovative and commercially successful solutions.
• Work across multiple teams located in different countries (Brazil, US, Singapore, India).
• Work close to the Electrical Engineering team, Systems Engineer, and the Project Manager at the Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).

• Completion of a master's or doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred.

• 5 years of experience in R&D.
• Experience in design of complex systems solutions including several engineering disciplines for Oil & Gas, mining and/or aerospace industry.
• Experience in design solutions for subsea applications and well control involving multi disciplines is desirable.
• Experience in design solutions for well intervention applications involving multi disciplines is desirable.
• Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers as needed.
• Experience defining requirements and reviewing proposals from third party (manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers).
• Knowledge and experience in Risk Assessment, FMEA, other reliability tools.
• Familiarity with power control and communication systems/solutions.
• Advanced working knowledge in electronic circuit design and in commonly used circuit simulators (LTSPICE, PSPICE, etc.) and math tools (Matlab, MathCAD, etc.) applied to embedded systems in harsh environments (O&G, mining or aerospace).
• Knowledge in IoT, UI mockup (simulation test environment) and digital twin.
• Experience in designing system automation using robotics.
• Experience in designing models, control design and simulation of electrical and mechanical system with standard software (Matlab, Labview, ROS, PLC software,..).
• Working experience with real-time simulation, model-based design, hardware-in-loop, and code generation using Simulink.
