Process Engineer, Master

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Process Engineer, Master to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte - MG office.

About The Role
The engineer will be responsible for leading projects within the Mineral Processing department, ensuring the quality, consistency, and robustness of engineering information and solutions. Their responsibilities include the sizing and selection of process equipment, the definition, analysis, and optimization of beneficiation routes, as well as the interpretation of laboratory, pilot, and industrial test results.

In addition to serving as a technical reference for team development, the engineer will also be responsible for validating and consolidating process data used throughout the different phases of the project.

The role requires strong interaction with multidisciplinary teams and with internal and external clients, ensuring proper alignment of assumptions, requirements, and deliverables within the discipline's scope.

Proven prior experience in mining projects in the Study, Conceptual Engineering, Basic Engineering, and/or Detailed Engineering phases is mandatory, including active participation in the development of mass balances, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies, operating manuals, technical specifications, technical reports, and other documents that make up the Process scope.

About You

• Degree in Metallurgical, Mining, or Chemical Engineering
• 15 years or more with experience in similar role
• Experience working in engineering departments focused on mineral processing projects;
• Strong conceptual mastery of mineral processing unit operations (comminution, flotation, gravity concentration, leaching, thickening, filtration, etc.), as well as their peripherals and auxiliary systems;
• Knowledge of process simulation tools is an asset (Bruno, JKSimMet, Metsim, etc.);
• Proactivity and assertive communication;
• Collaborative approach when working in diverse and multicultural teams;
• Organization, attention to detail, and commitment to the quality and standardization of discipline deliverables;
• Analytical thinking and the ability to perform well in dynamic, deadline-driven environments;
• Proficient English Level;
• Spanish is a plus.
