Automation Engineer

Main Functions

• Lead industrial automation projects, from requirements gathering to final delivery
• Develop and program control systems (CPLs, HMIs, SCADA).
• Perform advanced diagnostics, commissioning, and validation of automated systems.
• Prepare and review high-level technical documentation (system architecture, I/O lists, electrical diagrams, etc.). Assist engineering and maintenance teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and technological innovation in industrial processes.

Technical skills

Required

• Expertise in PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider) and GE IFix supervisory systems.
• Experience with industrial networks (primarily Ethernet/IP, A-Si, and Devicenet).
• Strong analytical skills and a systemic view of industrial processes.
