Essential Job Functions
- Act as an advanced expeditor, with deep understanding of international logistics processes, Incoterms, and mandatory CIPL (Commercial Invoice & Packing List) data requirements;
- Process and verify purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement and customs regulations;
- Update and maintain accuracy of internal and external expediting systems, ensuring visibility of milestones and status;
- Closely monitor purchase order and shipment progress, proactively expediting deliveries to meet strict production or project deadlines;
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to confirm details, solve discrepancies, and avoid delays;
- Prepare and validate documents required for international shipments (invoices, CIPL, certificates, etc.);
- Support the team and clients on more advanced technical matters, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting;
- Propose and implement out-of-the-box solutions to overcome operational challenges and ensure continuous improvement;
- Identify process gaps and lead initiatives to optimize efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Other Skills & Abilities
- Strong knowledge of international trade, Incoterms, customs requirements, and documentation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and expediting systems;
- Degree in International Business, Administration, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience);
- Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken);
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
