The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a LATAM Sales Excellence Training Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Design and implement the sales training strategy for distributors' sales and clinical teams, aligned with business objectives and channel priorities. 

  • Create and implement ongoing training, certification, and skills development programs for sales, technical, and strategic competencies, tailored to the distributor's sales profiles and needs. 

  • Establish mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the impact of training, including performance dashboards, KPIs, and periodic reports to support decision-making. 

  • Coordinate with channel management managers to ensure alignment between training initiatives and policies regarding incentives, segmentation, coverage, and account management. 

  • Implement digital training and knowledge management platforms, promoting the adoption of technologies that improve sales productivity. 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5 to 8 years of experience in commercial positions like channel representative, channel marketing, sales or sales training.

  • Fluent in English

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Postgraduate degree in instructional design, training or pedagogy from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years of commercial experience in medical devices industry

  • Skills include persuasion to manage divergent interests and perspectives. Negotiation, influence, and communication skills for presentations or to participate in or lead specific sales teams. Continuous improvement mindset, incorporating feedback from the sales team, distributors, and internal stakeholders.

Work location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Latam countries). The position can be based in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia or Chile.

Travel: May include up to 25% international
