About the Company:
We are a global leader in the mineral fertilizer industry, with a strong international presence and a commitment to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our Distribution Business in São Paulo, Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and preparation of Management reporting and presentation (incl. Margin details by products, clients, territories; "Position" reporting; Production KPIs and costs details; SG&A costs details; CapEx details; Net Working Capital details)
- Improvement and full ownership of Budget model and Budget process (from schedule to final review, full scope - incl. full PL, CapEx, Taxes, Net Working Capital, Cash Flow)
- Support of KPIs setting and monitoring (incl. bonus relevant KPIs)
- Short-term Forecasts preparation (1 month, 3-5 months perspective), scenario modelling
- Control over the execution of budgets (costs rationale, budget limits) - first in Excel, than in ERP
- Analysis of business cases and processes to identify value creation opportunities and improve control environment
- Active role in ERP implementation project (Including Controlling, Management reporting, Budget Control, Budgeting)
- Support CFO on preparation of Strategic advice for local and Group management (Including summarizing market and analytical data, benchmarking with competitors and etc.)
- Analysis of tenders and purchases (economic efficiency, budget limits)
- Financial master data management
Requirements:
- University Degree in Finance and Economics, Post-graduate qualification is a plus
- Knowledge of IFRS and it´s application for Industry, ACCA / CIMA / CFA degree is a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Commodities Distribution or/and Trading (multi-product, multi-client, multi-territory sales environment) directly or in total with relevant experience with "Big 4" for FP&A and Controlling projects, experience in Fertilizers and Agri sectors is a plus
- 3+ years experience of managing the teams with 3-5 direct subordinates and wide cross-functional communication
- Experience of working for the companies with several management layers (Local, Head Office/Group), being prepared for direct communication at all levels (Including with the teams outside Brazil)
- Strong result oriented mind-set, willingness to work with "hands-on" to build a foundation for further automation and scalability to support business growth and grow together with the business
