São Paulo, São Paulo, Brasil Adyen Tempo inteiro R$80.000 - R$150.000 por ano

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.

For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Senior Payment Partnerships Manager

Adyen is seeking a dynamic Senior Payment Partnerships Manager to drive our strategy and strengthen our relationships with payment partners (e.g., schemes, banks, etc.) in Mexico and Brazil, while staying aligned with regional and global strategic priorities.

In this position, you will be accountable for managing a portfolio of Adyen's most strategic payment partnerships, while also driving the identification and development of new ones. Through influence, persistence, and a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, you will cultivate meaningful, long-term relationships across partner organizations.

You will collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams — including Product, Account Management, Sales, Legal, and Compliance — to establish and sustain strong, mutually beneficial partnerships that support Adyen's strategic objectives.

Excellence in this role requires a multifaceted skill set encompassing partnership management, stakeholder engagement, and a strong commercial and go-to-market orientation. You should also demonstrate advanced critical thinking and analytical capabilities to evaluate the Latin American payments landscape and identify emerging opportunities for Adyen.

This is a full-time role based in our São Paulo office, reporting directly to the Head of Payments, Latin America. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.

What You Will Do

  • Define and implement a comprehensive, proactive partnership strategy for a portfolio of critical card network partners.
  • Be the key point of contact within Adyen for knowledge, trends and regulations of the payment ecosystem in multiple Latam countries.
  • Responsible for conducting a deep assessment of the Latam market and acknowledge opportunities.
  • Manage all aspects of the partnership, including prioritizing key focus areas, evaluating new initiatives, and ongoing partner management (end to end partner perspective).
  • Build close relationships with partners such as credit card networks, banks, local connections (e.g., Prosa, etc.), and Local Payment Methods (LPM's).
  • Collaborate with various technical teams to achieve high performance levels in critical payment processes on behalf of our merchants.
  • Provide expertise in discussions about global payment trends, rules, and regulations with internal stakeholders.
  • Elevate Adyen's influence and positioning by facilitating co-product development, co-marketing initiatives, and business development discussions.
  • Coordinate with strategic merchants to drive growth and awareness across our payment portfolio.

Who you are

  • Over 7 years of professional experience with expertise in partner management within the technology sector. Bonus points for experience in payments and product positions.
  • Deep knowledge of the payments landscape, with critical thinking skills to understand and interpret emerging trends.
  • A strong communicator with proven experience in building and managing relationships at various levels within an organization.
  • A well-rounded critical thinker who feels comfortable managing conversations across multiple business and technical functions.
  • Languages: Fluent English (must) Advanced Spanish (Ideal).

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion commitments

Our unique approach is a product of our diverse perspectives. This diversity of backgrounds and cultures is essential in helping us maintain our momentum. Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours. No matter who you are or where you're from, we welcome you to be your true self at Adyen.

Studies show that women and members of underrepresented communities apply for jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. Does this sound like you? If so, Adyen encourages you to reconsider and apply. We look forward to your application

What's next?

Ensuring a smooth and enjoyable candidate experience is critical for us. We aim to get back to you regarding your application within 5 business days. Our interview process tends to take about 4 weeks to complete, but may fluctuate depending on the role. Learn more about our hiring process here.
