Role Overview

As a Product Owner at OpenBet, you will help lead the prioritization and delivery of mission-critical features ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for high-volume transactional systems.

This role requires deep technical product expertise, stakeholder leadership, and a strong ability to align engineering roadmaps with business objectives. You will collaborate with senior leadership, and act as a key decision-maker in shaping the future of OpenBet's platform. You will be a key contributor in defining and driving product decision making in a number of important business areas such as, casino, sportsbetting, player account management, and other platform systems or integrations while complying with Brazil's regulatory framework.

Working closely and with guidance of your manager, you will develop and implement product strategies relative to the local Brazilian market while keeping a global mindset to product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Product backlog:
  Collaborate and manage the backlog of components within OpenBet, prioritizing features, and creating new innovative improvements to your product and for our Brazilian partners.
• Requirement Definition:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs, market trends, and business objectives. Act as the primary stakeholder for complex integrations with back and front-end systems.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with design, development, and QA teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of high-quality features
• Agile Methodology:
  Work within the company's agile framework, to facilitate efficient and effective product development cycles. Help the team to plan and improve their ways of working through retrospectives
• Performance Monitoring
  : Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), user feedback, and market trends to iterate on the mobile product strategy and enhance user satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  Regularly communicate progress, updates, and challenges to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with organisational objectives.

Location: This is a fully remote position, however travel to the client sites in Sao Paolo is required so we will only be considering candidates located in Sao Paolo.

The Player

What you'll bring

• 2+ years proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role preferably in the iGaming industry - Operations and Customer Service roles within iGaming also considered.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Passion for staying current on industry trends and emerging technologies, ideally in the local Brazilian market, including compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong understanding of Brazil's digital landscape, player expectations, and regulatory environment.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
