Role Brief:

• RSM US is seeking an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect with high technical proficiencies across Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity Management, Monitoring, and Alerting within the Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• In your role, you will be responsible to architect, design, re-design, and migration enterprise applications and data
• You will be a key contributor on cloud discovery, design discussions, and brainstorming for solution design and implementation
• You will take advantages of Azure platform features such as well-architected, landing zones, elasticity, scalability, automation, and monitoring
• Collaborate with teams in the US, El Salvador and India
• Ability to work in a matrix organization while establishing and maintaining healthy working relationships with Partners, Clients, and the various RSM teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences ranging from developers to C-Levels and other technical decision-makers
• Ability to analyze ambiguous technical and client needs to determine the most appropriate solutions

What Are We Looking For:

• At least 3 years of Azure cloud IAAS and PAAS hands-on experience 
• A seasoned candidate managing client's requirements end-to-end (discovery, planning, design, implementation, and transition)
• Plan, develop, and configure Azure infrastructure from conceptualization through stabilization using various Azure tools, methodology, design best practices, etc.
• Planning for data backup, disaster recovery, data privacy, and security requirements to ensure solution remains secured and compliant with security standards and frameworks
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues in Azure cloud
• Experience in keeping cloud environment secure and proactively preventing downtime
• Good knowledge in determining associated security risks and mitigation techniques
• Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Own the design documentation of solution implemented i.e. High Level & Low Level Design documents
• Perform routine infrastructure analysis and evaluation on resource requirements necessary to maintain and/or improve SLAs
• Strong problem-solving skills, customer service and people skills
• Excellent command of the English language (both Verbal & Written)

What You Will Be Doing:

Deep understanding & extensive work experience in the following:

• Azure Cloud Migrations
• Azure Foundations and Landing Zones
• Vnets, IP Networking/Subnetting, VPN, Gateways, Load Balancing, Firewalling, Azure DNS, Traffic Manager, Azure CDN (Front Door), and the overall Azure networking
• Azure Virtual Desktop implementation and management experience
• Virtual Machine, AKS, and Azure Containers
• Managed Disk, Blob Storage, Table Storage, File Storage, and Queue Storage
• Azure RDS database services such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB
• Azure monitoring and alerting services such as Azure Monitor, Azure Advisor
• Leverage new technology paradigms (e.g., serverless, containers, microservices)
• Strong fluency in at least one programming or scripting language: Python, Ruby, Shell scripting, Java, etc.
• Strong understanding of servers, infrastructure, platform sizing, infrastructure cost reduction
• Solid experience in Linux -based servers and workstations– especially, performing systems administration, maintenance, and engineering in multiple enterprise server environments (Linux, Red Hat, CentOS)
• Cloud implementation experience via Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
• Prior experience working in Agile Principle, Methodologies and Tools (SCRUM, KANBAN, XP)
• Exposures to Cloud Assessment Tools (Device42, Azure Cloud Migration Assessment, Cloudockit, Flexera, etc.)

• Experience in technology consulting/advisory
• Advanced knowledge of Linux
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture
• Advanced knowledge of Google GCP services and architecture
• Exposure to Data Center Compute and Storage

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
