Job description: 
  • Works as On-Site Engineer on customer premises, Sao Paulo - Brazil, 5 days per week, 8 hours a day. The work will be done along with customer´s Engineering and Operations departments.
  • Works with customer to plan, design, implement, configure and/or diagnose Cisco products, services and solutions, interfacing with Cisco´s teams (e.g. NCEs, Project Manager, Support and TAC).
  • Acts as a focal point for problem resolution in assigned customer engagements.
  • Takes leadership role in execution of delivery projects.
  • Supports presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.
  • Builds customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues. Aligns technical deliverables to customer business outcomes.
  • Complies with and supports company policies and processes and utilizes relevant tools to effectively execute the role and support Professional Services' strategies and goals
Role Specific Responsibilities:
  • Works extensively with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources (e.g. Cisco account teams, partners) on the strategy/deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
  • Creates, reviews and approves project deliverables e.g.
  • Design recommendations, MOPs, Implementation/Change Management Plans.
  • Typically interacts with individual contributors, managers, and customers regularly. Engages with sales teams on pre-sales activities
Expertise:
  • BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Experienced in work on customer´s premises.
  • Knowledge of Nexus, Wireless, Routing & Switching, Cloud and Datacenter Technology.
  • Knowledge of Network Security Concepts is desirable. Portuguese speaking, writing and reading.
  • CCNP certified. CCIE is desirable.
  • Advanced English speaking, reading and writing, to better communicate with Cisco´s engineers/TAC.
  • Communications skills.
  • Pro-active approach
