What you'll do

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be the bridge between data architecture and business insights. You will capture, clean, and analyze data to identify operational inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. You will assist in refining processes, documenting requirements, and contributing to projects that innovate how we operate and scale the business to bring greater value to our customers and provide insights and information for key decision-makers.

The day-to-day

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external
sources to provide insight to decision-makers.
Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data
and market knowledge.
Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or
available data elements.
May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business
issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

What you'll need
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
  • Acknowledged expert in analysis and problem solving, as well as effective written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to quickly learn Business Operations tools/systems (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, , Jira, etc.).
  • Capable of working independently and collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%. 
What will help you on the job
  • Knowledge of programming language like Phyton; or equivalent
  • Experience working in new or startup environments
  • Data Visualization experience
  • Strong statistical background
