Position: EH&S Specialist II
Work Location: Remote

Main Activities:
- Review of the introduction of new products to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements for food contact
- Develop short- and long-term solutions for regulatory issues in collaboration with other stakeholders
- Manage, prepare, and submit product notifications and regulatory approvals as needed
- Develop regulatory records, manage, and update data in regulatory systems across various databases
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with regulatory authorities to obtain final substance approvals, registrations, and certifications
- Globally align regulatory compliance projects
- Monitor regulatory activities and identify non-compliance issues or risks
- Stay familiar with relevant, new, and emerging regulations and legislation related to global chemical management
Technical Requirements:
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific field. A degree in chemistry, chemical engineer and food engineer, but other life science disciplines with appropriate chemistry experience will be accepted
- Experience in product compliance and market claim roles in the chemical, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical industries
- Basic knowledge of toxicology and ecotoxicology is a plus
