Senior Data Analyst

Brasil Clutch Tempo inteiro R$80.000 - R$200.000 por ano
About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Clutch, you'll play a key role in driving data-informed decision-making across the company. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers to generate insights that guide the development of new features and initiatives. Your analytical support will also extend to cross-functional partners, including Sales and Customer Success, through high-impact ad-hoc analysis.

You'll take ownership of both internal and external reporting infrastructure—building and maintaining dashboards that serve the entire company as well as client-facing embedded analytics. This includes ensuring metric accuracy, clear documentation, and ongoing visibility into performance.

In partnership with our Data Engineering team, you'll help shape the evolution of our data platform—identifying new data sources, designing schema updates, and ensuring our pipelines meet the growing analytical needs of the business.

About the Team
  1. Small but High-Impact Team

We are a lean, highly technical data team with a strong foundation. As we build our data infrastructure from the ground up, we focus on practical, hands-on execution while ensuring our work aligns with both internal and customer needs. Every team member plays a crucial role in shaping the future of data at the company.

  1. Collaborative & Cross-Functional

Our team operates at the intersection of technology, product, and business strategy. The Director of Data is hands-on, ensuring the team has the right toolset and direction. The Product Manager connects data initiatives with business goals, while our Data Scientist is focused on building ML models to enhance our product offerings. We work side by side to ensure data is actionable, scalable, and impactful.

  1. Building from Scratch, Together

Right now, we're in build mode—laying the foundation for a scalable, well-governed data ecosystem. This means a lot of coding, experimentation, and defining best practices. As we grow, we are looking for team players who are eager to shape this infrastructure, challenge assumptions, and help us build a best-in-class data environment.

What You'll Do Within 3 months, you will:
  • Ramp up on Clutch's data infrastructure, product, and customer ecosystem. Understand key metrics, source systems, and analytical tools.

  • Take ownership of existing dashboards and ad-hoc requests from Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

  • Deliver your first impactful insights for a product or customer initiative through exploratory analysis and SQL/Python-based querying.

  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to learn the data pipeline and help identify any data quality or access gaps.

Within 6 months, you will:
  • Lead data deep-dives on major product launches or customer behavior patterns, partnering directly with Product Managers.

  • Build or significantly improve a critical internal dashboard and contribute to documentation of business logic and definitions.

  • Manage and update the client-facing analytics experience, ensuring consistent, accurate metrics are delivered through embedded dashboards.

  • Proactively propose and scope new data sources or transformations that improve visibility or unlock new analysis capabilities.

Within 9 months, you will:
  • Act as the go-to analyst for one or more core business domains (e.g., Product usage, Sales funnel, Customer health).

  • Drive analytics projects that directly influence strategic decisions (e.g., pricing experiments, churn analysis, conversion optimization).

  • Partner with engineering to spec out new tables or changes to the data model, supporting long-term scalability of the analytics stack.

  • Mentor newer team members or contribute to improving team processes and documentation standards.

What You'll Bring

Must-have:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data querying and analysis.

  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Metabase, Tableau).

  • Solid foundation in exploratory data analysis and deriving actionable insights.

  • 5 years working as a Data Analyst in fast-paced environments, ideally within SaaS and/or Fintech contexts.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proactive mindset and ownership mentality—you don't wait to be told what to explore.

  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, sometimes ambiguous, and highly collaborative environment.

Nice-to-have:

  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, or light ETL tasks.

  • Experience partnering with Data Engineering on data modeling or defining new tables/schemas.

  • Familiarity with embedded analytics or client-facing reporting products.

Please note that this role may evolve as our business needs change, so we appreciate your flexibility and adaptability.
