Associate FP&A Analyst

As part of the GTM team, the Associate Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting General and Administrative areas (G&A) and Sales. This individual will develop financial analysis, craft and prepare financial plans and budgets, and communicate financial information to various stakeholders and Docusign leadership.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, FP&A.

Responsibility

• Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans by gathering and organizing data

• Support the creation of financial reports and analyses to provide insights for decision-making

• Collaborate with team members to help prepare monthly reporting packages, including variance explanations for actuals vs. forecasts

• Monitor and track budget performance, identifying discrepancies and assisting in resolving them

• Help with the monthly close process by preparing basic reports and reconciling data

• Assist in maintaining financial dashboards and metrics for leadership review

• Contribute to the analysis of expense trends and provide suggestions for cost optimization

• Support workforce planning by reconciling headcount and maintaining updated records

• Develop basic financial models and tools to support team initiatives and decision-making processes

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic

• BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, including internships

Preferred

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, including internships
  Proficiency in productivity tools such as Google Sheets or Excel, with familiarity in building formulas and analyzing data

• Exposure to ERP or accounting systems like Adaptive Insights or Oracle (a plus but not required)

• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and across departments

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate learning and collaboration

• Eagerness to learn and grow in a financial planning and analysis role

• Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in solving problems and understanding financial concepts

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Washington DC: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary

Ohio: $X/hour - $X/hour or $X - $X base salary 

This role is also eligible for the following:

• Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
• Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
