Senior Functional SAP FICO Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Functional SAP FICO Analyst, you will be a valued member of the SAP FICO team and work collaboratively with multicultural teams. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing SAP financial modules ensuring seamless integration across various SAP components. With a focus on SAP FICO the role involves enhancing financial processes and supporting business objectives. The candidate will leverage their expertise in SAP Taxation SAP Cost Center Accounting and other related modules to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the implementation and optimization of SAP financial modules to enhance business processes and achieve financial accuracy.
• Oversee the integration of SAP Taxes on Sales and Purchases with other SAP modules to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Provide expertise in SAP FI-MM and FI-SD Integration to support cross-functional business processes.
• Utilize Generative AI to innovate and improve financial reporting and analysis.
• Manage SAP Taxation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize tax-related workflows.
• Implement SAP Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting to provide detailed financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee the transition to SAP New GL and manage the functionalities of SAP Classic GL for accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate SAP Internal Orders and Credit Management to streamline financial operations and improve cash flow management.
• Enhance SAP Profitability Analysis and Product Costing to support business profitability and cost management strategies.
• Manage SAP Automatic Payments Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure efficient financial transactions and cash management.
• Oversee SAP Asset Management to optimize asset utilization and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SAP FICO solutions align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of SAP financial solutions.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1 or 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo, SP. What you need to have to be considered

• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced English
• Possess extensive experience in SAP FICO and related modules including SAP Taxes SAP Cost Center Accounting and SAP Profit Center Accounting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SAP FI-MM and FI-SD Integration to support comprehensive financial processes.
• Have a strong understanding of SAP Taxation and its impact on financial operations.
• Experience with Generative AI to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Familiarity with SAP New GL and Classic GL functionalities for accurate financial management.
• Knowledge of SAP Internal Orders Credit Management and Profitability Analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Experience in SAP Product Costing and Automatic Payments to optimize financial workflows.
• Understanding of SAP Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable and Asset Management for efficient financial operations.
