Senior Trader
to develop and manage a
whole cottonseed trading book in Brazil
. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional with deep expertise in the cottonseed market to play a pivotal role in shaping a new line of business with strong domestic and international growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a
  cottonseed trading portfolio
  , balancing flows between gins, crush plants, domestic feed demand, and exports.
• Collaborate closely with the lint buying team to align cottonseed pricing strategies with grower engagement.
• Develop and execute trading strategies across domestic and export channels, including containerised exports and bulk flows.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with gins, crushers, dairies, and feed buyers across Brazil.
• Monitor market trends, supply/demand dynamics, and price drivers to optimise trading decisions.
• Provide market intelligence on cottonseed supply, storage, crush capacity, and end-user demand.
• Explore opportunities for cross-border trading, including Argentina.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 5–10 years' experience
  trading cottonseed or related feed commodities within Brazil.
• Strong network and
  relationships with cotton gins, crushers, and feed buyers
  .
• Deep understanding of cottonseed storage, ginning capacity, and crush sector dynamics (expeller vs solvent).
• Knowledge of domestic demand drivers (dairy, cattle, and feed markets).
• Experience in structuring export flows, including containerised exports.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
  (spoken and written).
• Entrepreneurial mindset, commercially driven, and able to build a business from the ground up.
• Exposure to the Argentine cottonseed market is a plus.
