Overview of the role:

The Shopify Engineer position focuses on joining development organizations to help clients take their eCommerce platforms to the next level. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining client Shopify websites and integrations with other systems while working in fast-paced, innovative environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating with eCommerce personnel to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.

• Designing and implementing custom Shopify themes and templates.

• Building and maintaining custom Shopify apps and plugins.

• Integrating Shopify with other systems such as CRM, ERP, and payment gateways.

• Ensuring website performance and security are optimized.

• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues.

Requirements:

• Shopify Expertise: 3+ years of comprehensive experience with Shopify Liquid.

• JavaScript Frameworks: 2+ years of hands-on experience with JS Frameworks (React, NextJS, VueJS, etc).

• App Development: Proven track record in Shopify App development and deployment.

• Language Proficiency: Upper English level.

Additional skills preferred:

• Headless Architecture: Shopify headless architecture experience (stores/apps).
