We are a providing professional services resources for a multinational specializing in delivering comprehensive solutions to its clients. Our contractor resources collaborate with clients to drive successful project outcomes. We work on a wide range of engagements, from small to large, across the region.

Role Overview:

As a Contractor for Professional Services Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of projects ranging from small-scale project to complex, large-scale engagements. Your experience in project management, combined with your proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models, will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and MSI clients satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project management activities for a diverse range of engagements, working closely with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

• Develop and execute project plans, considering the appropriate delivery model (Agile or Waterfall) based on project requirements and client preferences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, consultants, and stakeholders, to ensure project milestones are met within the defined timelines and budget.

• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, managing issues that may arise during project execution.

• Monitor project progress and ensure that project deliverables are of the highest quality, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.

• Foster strong relationships with clients, acting as the main point of contact for project-related discussions and updates.

• Effectively communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to both internal teams and clients.

• Leverage your knowledge to provide valuable insights and recommendations during project planning and execution (if applicable).

• Uphold best practices and industry standards in project management, utilizing your PMP certification and experience to drive excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree is a plus.

• Non-Telecomm PMs please refrain from submitting applications

• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in Telecommunications project management, preferably in a professional services environment.

• Desirable PMP (Project Management Professional) certification / Scrum Agile certifications is mandatory.

• Proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Vast experience in successfully delivering NETWORKING and Automation solutions are a must;

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

• Leadership capabilities to guide project teams and collaborate with clients.

• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Technical/Functional:

• Scope Assessment and Resolution: Proficiently assesses project scope, identifies gaps in requirements, and efficiently resolves them.

• Effective Planning: Develops comprehensive work breakdown structures, aids in accurate estimations, validates estimate confidence, and consolidates them into a robust project schedule.

• Project Finance: Demonstrated track record of effectively managing project budgets and financial resources to ensure successful project delivery.

• Optimizing Critical Path: Demonstrates the ability to optimize the critical path to enhance project efficiency and timely delivery.

• Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identifies project-related problems, selects appropriate solutions, and escalates when necessary, ensuring smooth project progression.

• Risk Management: Recognizes active project risks, vigilantly monitors risk triggers, and executes predefined contingency plans when required.

• Scope Management: Proficiently manages scope changes, driving discussions about scope versus schedule/budget and reaching conclusive decisions.

• Resource Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating for necessary resources, be it human capital, budget allocation, or equipment, considering the larger organizational project portfolio.

• Variance Analysis: Expertly identifies deviations between planned and actual project outcomes across dimensions (scope, schedule, quality, risks), taking corrective actions as needed.

• Estimation Techniques: Applies various estimation techniques to refine future project planning, improving accuracy and predictability.

• Proficient Tools Utilization: Demonstrates proficiency in MS Project, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.

• Adherence to PMO Standards: Familiarity with project portfolio management tools and dedicated adherence to PMO (Project Management Office) standards.
