Opportunity: SAP AMS Project Manager (Fluent English)

Model: 100% remote

Time zone: US West Coast (PST)

Contract: contractor/PJ via Deel - Stefanini LATAM

FLUENT ENGLISH REQUIRED

Stefanini LATAM is looking for an SAP AMS Project Manager to work on our international projects, supporting the SAP Directorate in the management and delivery of support services and continuous improvements in SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

This professional will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring AMS (Application Management Services) activities, ensuring compliance with deadlines, scope, costs, and agreed service levels (SLAs). They will act as a focal point between clients, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring quality deliverables and added value to the business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete SAP support and improvement project cycle (AMS), including scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
  • Coordinate multiple small and medium-sized improvement initiatives simultaneously.
  • Monitor performance indicators (SLA, backlog, mean time to resolution) and propose continuous improvement actions.
  • Facilitate operational and executive meetings with clients and AMS teams.
  • Support root cause analysis and remediation plans for recurring incidents.
  • Ensure compliance with change management processes, ITIL, and SAP Solution Manager/ChaRM.
  • Supervise AMS contracts, validating efforts, costs, and monthly reports.
  • Coordinate distributed teams (Brazil, India, USA) and maintain fluent communication in English.
Prerequisites
  • 8 to 10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in project management or SAP AMS operations.
  • Experience in multiple SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, BW, SuccessFactors, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP Activate, ASAP, or Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ITSM and ITIL v4; ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, or Azure DevOps.
  • Fluent English (daily communication with global stakeholders).
  • Spanish will be considered a plus.
  • Availability to work in the Pacific time zone (California).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, SAP Activate, or equivalent certifications.
  • Previous experience in global consulting firms or multinational clients.
  • Ability to lead remote and multicultural teams.
