We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior DBT Developer to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and models using dbt and Snowflake.

As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to creating efficient and scalable data solutions, uphold established standards, and support knowledge transfer to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-level and detailed architecture for data ingestion, transformation, and presentation layers with dbt and Snowflake
  • Ensure compliance with Data Marketplace standards, including schema design, naming conventions, and governance protocols
  • Offer hands-on assistance for implementing dbt models, Snowflake objects (tables, views, streams, tasks), and orchestration workflows
  • Apply best practices from Snowflake Business Office and dbt Cloud usage guidelines
  • Validate designs and implementations for alignment with security, performance, and cost optimization standards
  • Provide training sessions to empower client resources during the build phase
  • Supply comprehensive documentation and walkthroughs to facilitate client ownership post-engagement
  • Attend sprint reviews and standups to maintain transparency and alignment with project objectives

Requirements

  • Expertise in dbt and Snowflake with production-level experience
  • 3+ years of background working with Amazon Web Services, Snowflake, and data modeling
  • Knowledge of practices in data governance, security, and cost optimization
  • Proficiency in designing scalable data architectures in line with marketplace standards
  • Strong communication skills to deliver training and documentation effectively to clients
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
