We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients in the Oil & Gas industry, an
"STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION LEAD (M/F)"
for a long-term contract based in
Rio de Janeiro (Brazil).
This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.
"STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION LEAD (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?
Mission context*
Support the Operations Team in managing structural integrity of the fleet in Brazilian waters, minimizing risks of failure, pollution, water ingress, and major structural damage.

*Key Responsibilities*

• Resolve structural hull integrity issues by proposing technical solutions and coordinating offshore repairs
• Develop inspection plans tailored to the company requirements, based on past reports or identified risk areas
• Act as focal point with inspection vendors, engineering suppliers, and Class surveyors
• Suggest innovative, cost-effective, and productivity-enhancing solutions
• Provide offshore support to the Marine Team on structural/class inspections and regulatory compliance
• Assist offshore teams during Class surveys
• Oversee and control project schedules

What profile and skills are required for this "STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION LEAD (M/F" role?
*Qualifications & Experience*

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience in greenfield and brownfield offshore structural projects
• Background in shipyards, fleet structural teams, inspection, or offshore repair companies
• Solid knowledge of offshore structural materials, fabrication, and installation
• Experience in constructability reviews
• Proven skills in material estimation, scheduling, resource planning, and development (revamp project experience a plus)
• Ability to create repair plans from inspection reports and coordinate with Engineering and Class for complex structural studies
• Strong knowledge of offshore structural repair requirements, inspection standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in English
