The Role
We're looking for a Social Creative Designer to join Mode Mobile's Growth team, focused on building top performer video ads for NGL, one of Mode's newest and fastest-moving products.
In this role, you'll concept, produce, and rapidly iterate social-first ad creative designed to feel native in platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. You'll experiment with hooks, formats, narratives, and trends—shipping fast, learning from performance, and doubling down on what works.
This is a hands-on, performance-driven creative role for someone who thinks like a creator and a growth marketer, comfortable with User Generated Content (UGC), creator management, quick turnarounds, and constant experimentation. You'll work closely with Growth, UA, and Product partners to turn insights into creative that captures attention and drives installs—prioritizing speed, platform intuition, and impact.

- Develop high-performing, trend-responsive video and static creatives for Meta (IG Reels), TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging channels.
- Create ad concepts that speak directly to Gen Z audiences through humor, authenticity, and native social storytelling.
- Partner closely with UA Buyers and the Growth Team to interpret performance data and develop hypotheses for new creative tests.
- Identify high-performing creative trends, cultural moments, and influencer content that can inspire the next winning campaign.
- Monitor TikTok, Instagram, memes, viral challenges, and university social trends daily to spark new creative ideas.
- Partner with Product Marketing, Design, and Analytics teams to ensure creative alignment with the product's brand and growth goals.
- Contribute to sourcing briefs for influencer-driven user-generated content (UGC) ad production.
You won't just make ads, you'll help define the look, emotional feel, and cultural voice that propels this product into its next stage of growth.
What You Bring to the Team
- 3–5 years of experience creating UA or performance creatives for mobile apps, social products, gaming, or consumer tech
- Strong understanding of IG Reels-first creative best practices, including pacing, text overlays, meme formats, and hook psychology
- Portfolio demonstrating mastery of short-form editing, performance ads, and trend-responsive creative
- Skilled in video editing tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut.
- Data-driven mindset: ability to interpret campaign metrics and translate insights into creative direction.
- Comfort with high-speed experimentation and iterative creative cycles.
- Deep familiarity with Gen Z aesthetics, humor, authenticity-driven content, and viral mechanics
- Strong copywriting instincts for short-form scripts, hooks, captions, and in-video text.
- Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with growth analytics tools (e.g., AppsFlyer, Singular, Data Studio, Segwise).
- Experience building creative test frameworks or reporting dashboards.
