Product Manager About Sierra StudioSierra Studio is an AI engineering studio and startup incubator – we turn our customers' ideas into reality We're based in Los Angeles, but our teammates live all around the world. We create products across all areas of software — from web and mobile apps to cutting-edge work at the forefront of AI and large language models. About The RoleAs a Product Manager, you'll lead product for one or more initiatives at Sierra. You'll understand what our customers want, come up with the right set of features, and lead the team to do whatever it takes to ship. You'll work closely with designers, software engineers, and our leadership team to take new products from idea to production. As an early employee at a startup, you'll also be part of creating our cultureHere's a taste of what you could do at SierraClient projects: Work with a startup founder to build the MVP of their ideaInternal projects: Build an internal AI tool to transform our own workflowsIncubator: Launch a new product that spins off into its own company Who We're Looking ForOur ideal candidate is a generalist product manager who loves to learn new things fastWe care more about the ability to lead projects from idea to production than any specific skills, but here are some preferred qualifications:5+ years of product management, startup founder, or similar experienceExperience leading 0->1 productsExperience working directly with customers or clients to understand their needsHands on: you don't just write docs, you get your hands dirty in the codebase and Figma filesTechnical: engineering background preferred – e.g. prior experience as a software engineerDesign taste: you know good design when you see itAnalytical ability: you can create unique solutions to hard, ambiguous problemsScrappy: you know how to find the fastest way to get things doneVery strong written + verbal communicator in EnglishBonus skills:You can contribute to code (with the help of AI tools like Cursor)You can contribute to design (Figma)Experience leading AI products, especially involving LLMsPrompt engineering experienceFormer startup founderCool personal projects you can share with us Our cultureGrowth mindset: We look to magnify our strengths, take chances, and always learn from our mistakes.Supportive: We keep our egos out of the workplace and support each other when trying new things.Product & customer centric: We care deeply about our customers and clients and always keep their needs top of mind.
