We are currently looking for a
Plant Manager
to join us at
Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Pernambuco, Brazil, in the Suape industrial complex

About the role:

The plant manager is responsible for
managing the daily operations of the plant
. This includes planning and coordinating production activities, managing a team of
production
department heads, supervisors and workers, and ensuring that the plant operates safely and efficiently. The production plant manager will also be responsible for controlling plant costs, improving production efficiency, and establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations such as
  budget, production schedule and stock.
• Analyze production costs and
  inventory
  to establish areas for improvements
• Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies and HSE.
• Lead
  improvement initiatives
  as aligned with global guidance , such as
  Lean and Operational Excellence
  , and other projects to
  improve quality, reduce costs, improve OEE, save time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field. (Nice to have: Lean Six Sigma certification)
• 5+ years
  of experience in field
  as a Plan Manager in manufacturing (i
  n Plastic transformation processes).
• Professional English level (
  is a key requirement), the interviews will be in English
• Experience in plant management and
  manufacturing operations, budget, Strong communication, management and supervisory skills.
• The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.
