Shopify Developer

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our growing Shopify team. The ideal candidate is curious and passionate about building high-quality eCommerce experiences, has strong knowledge of Shopify theme customization, and keeps up with the latest Shopify updates and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Customize and extend Shopify themes using Liquid, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with designers, PMs, and QA to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
Ensure stores follow Shopify's latest standards and Online Store 2.0 practices.
Optimize storefront performance (speed, SEO, accessibility).
Support ongoing client requests for updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Stay current with Shopify releases and proactively suggest improvements.
Must-Haves
2+ years of experience working with Shopify development.
Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
Experience with React (for custom storefronts or apps).
Proven ability to customize Shopify themes and implement new features.
Familiarity with Online Store 2.0, theme blocks, metafields, and section rendering.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience developing custom Shopify apps ).
Knowledge of Shopify Plus features (multi-store setups, advanced checkout flows).
Familiarity with headless Shopify architectures.
Experience building and publishing Shopify themes.
Background in performance optimization at scale.
