Shift is excited to build a new engineering team in São Paulo as an extension of our France engineering org to work alongside our existing teams in the city. You'll collaborate across countries on high‑impact ML and data products, contribute to end‑to‑end engineering—from data pipelines to production services—and help shape our local engineering culture. What You'll Do...

As a Full-stack Engineer, your technical knowledge and autonomy will let you build complete designs for our applications and features. You will contribute to a UI to collect and review information, to APIs that automates decision making and build to corresponding framework. Performance, scalability and quality are key challenges to solve in order to deliver and review code. You are part of a team and collaborate with your teammates (software engineers, data scientists, QA, UX, product managers) to constantly receive and give feedback and improve the agile development process. We work with modern technologies and always encourage our team to explore what's new in the market. Our main tools are:

• Frontend: React/Redux/TS/Vanilla Extract/LESS/Dev Container with Vite
• Backend: ASP.NET, C#, MSSQL, Elasticsearch
• IDE: your choice - Rider, VS Code, or Visual Studio + Resharper
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure
• Foundational toolchain: GitHub Enterprise, GHAS, GH Copilot + coding agent
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions / TeamCity, Cypress, GH Packages (npm, NuGet), Octopus
• Collaboration: Slack, Jira, Confluence

What you bring...

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience with C#
• Frontend experience - any JS framework (ideally React)
• You are a true full-stack: frontend is part of your job, as much as backend
• Your projects are beautifully designed and cleanly written
• You are dynamic, curious and eager to learn, always looking to expand your fields of expertise
• You are proactive and take ownership of your work
• You want your work to have an impact: rather than a cog, you see yourself as the engine
• Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
• Comfortable working with legacy code and quickly adapting to new challenges
• Fast learner who proactively jumps in to provide support when needed
• Committed to being an integral part of the team and contributing to a positive company culture
• Fluency in English

Recruitment Process

• 30-minute video interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist
• 2x 1-hour technical interviews, one with a Backend dev and one with a Frontend dev
• 1-hour final interview with the Hiring Manager
