Product Manager (Education, Edtech)

About Us

Our company is an established education provider headquartered in the United States with a global presence through strategic partnerships across multiple regions. We deliver comprehensive online educational programs directly to students while also collaborating with institutional partners to broaden our reach and impact. As we continue our growth trajectory and enhance our operational capabilities, we're seeking passionate professionals who share our commitment to learner success and will help us build innovative, technology-enabled education solutions.

Job Overview

In this role, you will lead the Instructional Design (ID) team and manage a portfolio of "internal products" that includes curriculum development, course creation, our learning platforms (LMS), and our student information system (SIS). You'll translate the needs of Academic and Operations into clear priorities and roadmaps, partner closely with Engineering, and ensure our learning experiences and internal processes are effective, cohesive, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the ID team; set standards for quality, timelines, and collaboration with subject-matter experts.
  • Own the multi-product roadmap (Curriculum, LMS, SIS, internal portals); define outcomes, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Run discovery with Academic, Operations, CX, and other stakeholders to capture needs and prioritize a transparent backlog.
  • Oversee end-to-end course production (from learning objectives and outlines to build, review, QA, and launch) with predictable delivery.
  • Coordinate with Engineering on requirements, sequencing, and release plans; communicate impacts and timelines to stakeholders.
  • Ensure our LMS, SIS, and portals enable effective teaching/learning and efficient operations; drive continuous improvements grounded in user feedback and data.
  • Establish lightweight rituals (planning, reviews, retros, release notes) and change-management for school and partner adoption.
  • Build dashboards and reports on learning outcomes, platform usage, production throughput, and stakeholder satisfaction; use insights to inform priorities.
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering on rollouts, enablement, and issue resolution; escalate risks early with clear mitigation plans.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and (where relevant) vendor relationships to deliver on goals.
  • Conduct ongoing user research with students, teachers, and staff to validate needs and solutions, and feed insights into the roadmap.
  • Integrate learner-journey insights with funnel and retention metrics; partner with CX/Growth and Academic/Ops to prioritize trade-offs and communicate expected impact.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product management (or adjacent roles) with experience in education, learning design, or program operations; people-leadership of creators or designers preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional work with Academic, Operations, Engineering, and Design.
  • Hands-on experience guiding curriculum/course creation and improving learning experiences at scale.
  • Familiarity with how an LMS supports teaching/learning and how an SIS supports student data and academic operations.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, prioritization, and roadmap ownership; data-informed decision-making.
  • Comfortable running discovery (interviews, surveys, feedback sessions) and translating findings into clear requirements.
  • Organized, proactive, and outcomes-oriented; able to manage multiple backlogs and deliver predictable releases.
  • User-centered mindset (UX/UI in education).
  • Fluent English; Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.

What We Offer

  • A culture in a constantly growing segment with continuous learning opportunities.
  • Full scholarship for direct dependents in WorldEd's International programs.
  • Total Pass wellness and quality of life benefit.
  • Hybrid work model: 3+ days onsite Sao Paulo (Zona Sul) - Availability for travel nationwide.
  • Parking at our headquarters.
  • Compensation plan, consisting of a fixed monthly amount + bonus tied to goals, under a contract model (PJ legal entity).

If you're passionate about guiding curriculum and platforms as integrated products, have a talent for leading creative teams, and excel at aligning stakeholders to measurable outcomes, we want to hear from you
