Company Description

A U.S.-based law firm with an office on Avenida Paulista, São Paulo (near MASP). We serve clients in the United States and are seeking professionals to join our in-person team in São Paulo.

We currently have openings for a
Licensed Attorney
and
Case Managers
fluent in English to assist in handling U.S.-based cases and client communications.

Position Details

  • Location:
    In-person at our São Paulo office – Avenida Paulista
  • Client Base:
    U.S.-based clients
  • Work Schedule:
    Monday to Friday (weekends off)
  • Remote Days:
    4 remote workdays per month (hybrid model)

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as notices, subpoenas, and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize electronic case files; assist with case management
  • Schedule appointments and manage communications with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, outside counsel, and court personnel
  • Obtain client signatures on legal and medical authorization forms
  • Support attorneys with case preparation and other administrative legal tasks

Requirements

  • Fluent English (minimum proficiency: 9/10)
  • For Attorneys:
    Valid OAB license (Brazil)
  • For Case Managers:
    College degree required
  • Strong communication and phone etiquette skills
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities; detail-oriented
  • Conversational Spanish is a plus (not required)
  • Immediate availability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Office; experience with legal case management software preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Compensation & Benefits

  • Junior (0–2 years experience):
    Starting at USD $1,000/month
  • Mid-Level (2–4 years experience):
    Starting at USD $1,200/month
  • Senior (4+ years experience):
    Starting at USD $1,500/month
  • Additional Pay:
    U.S. law firm experience pays extra
  • Bonuses:
    Based on individual and firm performance
  • Weekends off
  • Hybrid flexibility
  • U.S. holidays paid
  • 10 paid vacation days per year

Important:
This position is offered by an American company. You will be contracted as an
MEI
(not CLT). Please consult your accountant regarding tax and legal implications before applying. The salary is inclusive of all benefits (travel, meal vouchers, etc.) and paid via wire transfer in U.S. Dollars.
