At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation to join our team. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview:

As a Senior QA Automation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our applications. You will lead the design and execution of automated testing strategies, focusing on enhancing our API capabilities and user workflows. Your expertise will drive quality assurance processes, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the QA lead and developers to understand business logic, workflows, and validation needs.

Expand Postman-based API automation, comparing payloads and responses between API V1 and V2.

Perform complex functional and regression testing for end-to-end workflows.

Build and maintain Playwright-based automated test suites.

Conduct manual exploratory testing to identify defects and inconsistencies across the application.

Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.

Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-have Skills:

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and strong experience with Postman.

Experience creating and maintaining Playwright test suites.

Knowledge of JavaScript for test scripting and validation.

Hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Artillery).

Solid analytical skills with attention to detail for validating data integrity and workflow consistency.

Advanced English proficiency.

Nice-to-have Skills:

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with ExpressJS or environments.

Experience testing data migrations and complex backend integrations.

Exposure to Postgres or relational database testing.
