Position Mission
Are you passionate about electrical engineering, looking for technical challenges, and want to join a global company that leads in technology and innovation? ABB is looking for a
Project Engineer
to join the
Electrification (EL)
division. If you have experience with gas-insulated medium-voltage panels and want to work on high-impact and complex projects, this is your opportunity

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop medium-complexity electrical engineering projects by defining scope, timeline, and overseeing all project phases.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques and procedures, preparing execution plans and material lists.
  • Implement and monitor project execution, ensuring quality, productivity, safety, and schedule standards.
  • Conduct technical studies, prepare reports, and propose improvements to meet project requirements.
  • Perform technical inspections and keep manuals and technical documentation up to date.
  • Support contract management activities, including scope review, risk assessment, and progress reporting.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Automation Engineering.
  • Advanced/intermediate English proficiency.
  • Experience in the electrical design and specification of medium-voltage panels.
  • Knowledge of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) for protection and control.
  • Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) medium-voltage panels.
  • Advanced Spanish proficiency.
