Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Underwriter located in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. The Underwriter will be responsible for assessing risks, analyzing data, and determining the terms and conditions of insurance policies. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating insurance applications, reviewing supporting documentation, making risk assessment decisions, and negotiating with clients or brokers. The Underwriter will also ensure that all policies comply with regulations and internal standards.
Qualifications
- Risk Assessment, Data Analysis, Risk Evaluation skills
- Experience in reviewing insurance applications and supporting documentation
- Strong Analytical and Decision-making capabilities
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a team environment
- Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
