Position: Senior LATAM HR Business Partner (MANAGERIAL SENIORITY)

Location: São Paulo/SP

Work Model: Hybrid (2 days home office) with 25%/30% travel across Brazil (SP/SP) & LATAM availability

Position Overview

As the HR LATAM Business Partner, you will play a key role in aligning and implementing HR strategies across the LATAM region, supporting operations in Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Argentina, and beyond. Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will enable operational excellence, foster positive employee relations, ensure compliance, and champion initiatives that drive employee engagement and organizational growth. This role will require up to 30% travel across LATAM and to the regional office in Miami.

Responsibilities

Organizational Development and Talent Strategy


• Implement HR strategies in alignment with the Regional HR Director to support business goals.


• Strengthen risk protocols and back-office processes in collaboration with regional and global HR teams.


• Guide and support HR leaders and managers across LATAM, addressing specific HR projects and integration needs.


• Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, leveraging survey results to guide local management.


• Advocate for core values, promoting collaboration, respect, and innovation across the region.

Compliance, Administration, and Reporting


• Ensure compliance with global, regional, and local HR policies, as well as federal and state regulations.


• Oversee payroll accuracy, documentation, and approvals to minimize risk.


• Maintain high-quality data across HRIS, payroll, and other systems, ensuring alignment and fast corrective actions.


• Manage terminations, severances, and legal proceedings following group policies and local legislation.

Processes and Operational Oversight


• Lead annual HR activities such as salary reviews, workforce planning, and engagement surveys, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.


• Collaborate across departments—HR, Finance, and other teams—to ensure efficient operations and resource planning.


• Partner with locations to enhance HR processes tailored to distinct needs while ensuring consistent standards.


• Monitor key timelines such as salary adjustments, budgeting, and survey follow-ups.

Employee Relations


• Promote an environment of positive employee relations through effective communication and governance.


• Ensure local HR policies comply with regional and local labor laws, balancing consistency and customization as needed.


• Act as an escalation point for grievance and disciplinary cases, partnering with regional HR and legal teams to mitigate risks.


• Develop HR leaders by enhancing their administrative capabilities and aligning with best practices to support operational goals.

Integration and Change Management


• Support the integration of new operations by fostering relationships, driving change management, and resolving integration challenges.


• Collaborate with managers to ensure process alignment and seamless transitions.


• Build strategies to achieve fast, effective, and sustainable results during post-merger integrations.

Qualifications and Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.


• Advanced/Fluent English and Spanish.


• Advanced knowledge of labor laws across Brazil (SP/SP) and other LATAM countries.


• Experience in shared services/matrix organizations, and working with senior stakeholders.
