What You'll Do (in future roles)

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side applications.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that integrate with front-end applications and third-party systems.
  • Work with both relational and NoSQL databases to ensure performance, reliability, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with full-stack and front-end developers to deliver complete solutions.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and resolve scalability challenges.
  • Stay up to date on backend technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and technical planning.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in back-end development.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: Java, .NET (C#), Python, , Ruby, PHP.
  • Experience with relevant frameworks: Spring Boot, Django, , Rails, ASP.NET, etc.
  • Solid database experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.
  • Strong understanding of API design and development.
  • Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
  • Good understanding of development best practices, testing, and security principles.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging tools.
  • Knowledge of Redis, Memcached, or other caching strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and backend security measures.
