You will first be responsible for Cloud SDET responsibilities for the FC Tiers MI. Afterwards, or in parallel where possible, these contractors will also focus on auditing our current Pigeon Test Framework coverage, expanding our data generation capabilities, and increasing test coverage across our MSPG cloud services. 

Qualifications

Strong communication skills in English.

Strong proficiency in Go.

Demonstrated experience with Go testing frameworks.

Experience with synthetic data generation, schema validation, and data modeling.

5+ years of demonstrated experience in a SDET role.

5+ years of test automation and data generation experience.

3+ years working with testing frameworks in cloud environments.

Previous contractor experience with ability to work independently.

Previous experience with CrowdStrike products or cybersecurity platforms.

Responsibilities

Participate in Discovery sessions and develop the MI Test Plan in direct collaboration with the other engineers on the team.

Plan for any data generation requirements in order to test for the FC Tiers MI.

Implement cloud Stack and Pigeon tests for the MI.

Drive incremental manual QA of completed work.

Facilitate team testing sessions.

Pigeon Test Coverage Expansion

Work with MSPG cloud engineers to identify pigeon testing coverage gaps in MSPG cloud services and APIs. Starting point here.

Of our current 32 non-test cloud services only 7 of them currently are tested with Pigeon. Our goal is to reach 75% of testable services.

Design and implement comprehensive test scenarios using the Pigeon framework, including all APIs and core codepaths.  

Create appropriate documentation, alerting and monitoring for these pigeon tests.

Data Generation for UI Playwright Tests

Work with MSPG UI engineers to identify a comprehensive set of test CIDs configurations for MSPG Falcon Complete.

Work with MSPG UI engineers to identify data requirements for UI Playwright coverage.

Work with MSPG Product to identify data requirements for Customer demos.

Implement Pigeon tests to create data for these use cases.

Utilize sophisticated testing patterns to simulate real-world scale scenarios.

Implement data generators for multi-tenant cloud scenarios.

Create appropriate documentation, alerting and monitoring for these pigeon tests.
