Your role

  • conduct valuation analysis focusing on mining and basic materials
  • convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
  • build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
  • provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
  • remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies.

Your team

You'll be working in the Equity Research team in Brazil. As a research junior analyst (associate), you'll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations.

Your expertise

  • equity research with ideally 1 or 2 years (+ 5 years) of experience
  • fluent in English and Portuguese to support local client base
  • have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
  • confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
  • adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
  • inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
