Company Overview
Nestig is a direct-to-consumer brand with a mission to create the most delightful place to shop for children's spaces. Our brand is synonymous with quality, care, and trust, offering customers a seamless shopping experience and exceptional products for their little ones. As one of the fastest-growing consumer brands since 2021, Operations is essential to our culture, and we believe this is a key part of what sets us apart from the competition. We strive to execute streamlined, backend logistics to ensure customers receive their items in a timely and secure way.
Department Overview
As part of Nestig's Operations team, you will play a strategic, hands-on leadership role overseeing the full Customs and Logistics function across Brazil, North America, Europe, and Asia. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will manage a team of three and lead critical logistics operations, people development, and global partner relationships. You will navigate complex cross-border challenges while driving continuous improvement and cost optimization across the supply chain. In close partnership with Scheduling, Customer Experience, and Product Development, you will ensure efficient end-to-end product movement: from manufacturing and export through warehousing, customs clearance, last-mile delivery, and customer satisfaction.
This full-time position will be based out of our São Paulo office in Pinheiros.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three direct reports across varying levels, fostering continuous growth and high-performance culture through clear expectation setting, structured feedback, effective delegation, and hands-on support when needed;
- Own end-to-end international import and export workflows, managing and negotiating with global carrier partners to resolve escalations and meet cost, performance, and service-level benchmarks;
- Manage operations across all U.S. partner warehouses, ensuring accurate inventory, SLA compliance, and continuous process improvement;
- Develop, monitor, and refine KPIs for team performance, compliance, and operational excellence, using data-driven insights to measure success and inform company-wide improvements;
- Design streamlined processes that reduce transit delays, losses, and damage across all operations, working closely with the Product Development team to enhance packaging quality while maintaining competitive shipping costs;
- Oversee tracking processes, ensuring proactive communication and rapid issue resolution across customs and internal teams;
- Manage and onboard white glove delivery partners, ensuring quality standards, customer satisfaction, and ongoing partner development;
- Lead freight cost optimization initiatives, driving savings through commercial negotiations, operational redesign, and carrier performance reviews;
- Own carrier invoice and import tax validation processes, ensuring accuracy and preventing financial leakage;
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for logistics and fulfillment operations, equipping the team with the knowledge and guidance needed to address inquiries across carriers, customs, and end-to-end supply chain workflows.
