Main responsibilities:
Support students in developing English proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing domains. Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons that integrate language learning with academic content. Use data to identify learning needs, design individualized strategies, and monitor student progress. Collaborate closely with homeroom teachers, the learning support team, and families to promote inclusion and academic success. Administer and interpret WIDA MODEL assessments to guide instruction. Foster an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom that values diversity and encourages active participation. Participate in professional learning and school-wide initiatives that promote multilingualism and intercultural understanding.

Requirements:
Bilingual in Portuguese and English. Pedagogy or English teaching degree. Experience teaching in Elementary and Middle School. Strong understanding of second language acquisition and effective instructional strategies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Alignment with the school's vision, mission, and values.
