We are looking for a
Backend Engineer
to build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems that power user-facing features. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle—from gathering requirements to building, testing, deploying, and optimizing backend services.

Responsibilities:

• Build backend features that directly support end-users, contributing to architecture and feature development.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices with high availability and performance.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable backend code following engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and design to deliver impactful features.
• Run A/B testing experiments and measure feature performance for data-driven development.
• Write automated unit and integration tests to ensure high product reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and backend architecture improvements.
• Continuously improve services through monitoring, performance tuning, and debugging.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of backend development concepts and architecture
• Proficiency in
  Python or Java
  (experience with frameworks like Flask, Django, Spring Boot, or similar)
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices
• Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with caching and distributed systems (Redis, Memcached, Kafka is a plus)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Ability to write clean, testable code with automation testing
• Strong debugging skills and analytic problem-solving ability
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to A/B testing and experimentation platforms
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
