The Role

As a SOC DevSecOps Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and DevSecOps, integrating security practices into development and operational workflows. This role ensures that security is embedded throughout the software lifecycle and SOC automation processes, enhancing threat detection, incident response, and platform resilience.

Platform Engineering & Automation

• Design and implement security automation within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Develop and maintain SOAR playbooks, runbooks, and automation scripts (Python, PowerShell).
• Integrate SOC tools (SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR) with development and monitoring platforms.

Detection & Response

• Create and optimize SIEM detection use-cases based on CTI inputs and SOC analyst feedback.
• Monitor and fine-tune detection rules, thresholds, and contextual data to stay ahead of evolving threats.
• Support incident response and forensic analysis of security events.

Integration & Onboarding

• Lead technical onboarding of customer security technologies (EDR, SIEM, SOAR, VMS) into MSSP platforms.
• Ensure seamless log ingestion, secure connectivity, and use-case validation across environments.

Governance & Compliance

• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and compliance checks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Collaborate with compliance teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements.

• Solid experience in SOC operations, DevSecOps, or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto XSIAM, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or XSOAR.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Certifications such as SC-200, DevSecOps Professional.
• English for conversation
