The AI Visual Creation Specialist creates animated 2- and 3-dimensional images and video to help enhance the current interactive training modules into world-class, dynamic e-learning material. It is important that they provide fresh ideas with original solutions through video and animation. The creative process at different stages may include conceptualization, storyboarding, animating, and editing. When working on projects for other KnowBe4 publishers, they will emulate the design of the publisher's other content. The ideal candidate should be an AI enthusiast with a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence to transform learning experiences. They will work together with other eLearning developers, QA and engineers in a fast-paced environment using product/project management tools and developing standards for partners.

Responsibilities:

• Combine traditional filmmaking approaches and animation techniques with AI tools and techniques to:
  • Create multimedia assets for e-learning modules
  • Create graphics and photo assets to use in animations
  • Effects sequencing
  • Edit video, existing animations and visual effects
  • Perform sound mixing and synchronization
    
• Collaborate effectively with a creative team
• Involvement in the creative development process from the very beginning
• Work within deadlines
• Take an active role in creating and supporting content that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive as outlined in the KnowBe4 DEI statement
• Ensure content is Web Content Accessible Guidelines (WCAG 2.0) compliant so that our content is accessible to all users
• Create compelling motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using AI-powered tools (such as Runway ML, Synthesia, D-ID, Lumen5, Fliki)
• Leverage deep understanding of filmmaking principles, color and design theory, scene construction, and genre conventions to craft cohesive visual narratives that engage viewers and support strategic communication goals through AI-generated video content creation.
• Evaluate and curate AI-generated content for quality, accuracy, and alignment with project objectives that abide by copyright and intellectual property considerations before integration into courses
• Adapt to project requirements by selecting the most appropriate AI tools for specific animation needs
• Stay current with rapidly evolving AI motion graphics technologies
• Document best practices; research and recommend improvements to AI content creation workflows to enhance quality and efficiency
• Create templates and frameworks that can be consistently applied when using AI writing tools and assist publishers in utilising them

Requirements:

• B.A., BFA or comparable work/life experience
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite programs (After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience in creating and editing illustrated animations
• Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
• Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability
• Experience with AI tools (ie...ElevenLabs, Google Veo 3, HeyGen, Synthesia Midjourney AI, RunwayML,ect.)
• Strong verbal and written communications
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Ability to prompt, create and integrate AI-generated elements seamlessly with human-created content
• Knowledge of best practices for AI content creation and curation in animation
• Familiarity with visual storytelling grammar, from camera and lighting to editing, illustration and animation.
• Adaptability and openness to evolving AI capabilities and applications in eLearning
• A critical eye for ensuring AI-generated content
