Senior QA Engineer, Brazil

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of software products through smart strategies, automation, and collaboration. In this role, you'll play a key part in guaranteeing that our solutions meet business rules, user expectations, and both functional and non-functional requirements. You'll work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams to build high-quality, defect-free software that truly makes an impact.

What you'll do

• Design and execute manual and automated tests (functional, exploratory, regression, performance, and security).
• Define test strategies, create test plans, and ensure full coverage of project requirements.
• Validate that the system complies with all business rules and user expectations.
• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios and support development teams in increasing efficiency and test coverage.
• Identify and analyze defects, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
• Retrieve and monitor quality metrics to support RCA and continuous improvement agendas.
• Participate in planning meetings and code reviews, providing insights to improve product quality.
• Document results and generate reports to support quality evaluation and traceability.
• Contribute to continuous delivery and integration of new technologies, enhancing efficiency and operational performance.
• Promote and apply the test pyramid concept to ensure effective testing at all levels.

What we're looking for

• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• Solid experience in software testing and test automation.
• Strong understanding of business rules, functional and non-functional requirements, and testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
• Analytical mindset with proven experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect prevention.
• Familiarity with quality metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interest in applying AI techniques to improve test automation and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
