Latam Product Management Specialist Electrification

The Latam Product Management Specialist Electrification is responsible for driving the commercial success and technical excellence of the electrification product portfolio across the LATAM region. This role will develop intercompany sourcing, optimize the product roadmap, and create synergies with global and regional teams to expand market access and increase sales volume of new product developments and introductions (NPD/NPI). The Product Manager acts as a key interface between R&D, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and other support functions, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions and strong value propositions to customers.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop intercompany sourcing strategies to increase intercompany flow within LATAM and with other regions.
Create synergies with global application managers to expand regional access to the global portfolio.
Optimize the LATAM product portfolio and own the commercial product roadmap (3YP).
Increase sales volume of NPD/NPI and improve hit rates on must-win projects and tenders.
Lead the development, homologation, and specification-in of products, providing technical support and training.
Capture current and future market needs, ensuring customers understand the product portfolio during promotional activities.
Lead promotional activities, including participation in fairs, seminars, and technical forums, using effective sales enablers in line with company strategy.
Drive lead generation through promotional visits and regular status assessments.
Follow up on project development by visiting engineering companies and end customers, proposing solutions and identifying new sales opportunities.
Lead tender analysis for must-win projects, mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities to increase success rates.
Establish collaboration mechanisms with local Electrification teams, Country Managers, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, Customer Service, and HQ teams.
Education: Degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields. Postgraduate studies are a plus.
Experience: Proven experience in product management, preferably in electrification, industrial, or technical sectors, with a track record of managing product portfolios and leading cross-functional teams.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrification systems, product development processes, and commercial strategies.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions, lead complex projects, and drive results.
Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English required; Spanish is a plus.
IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel – advanced, PowerPoint). Experience with commercial tools (PIM, BMEcat, Customer Portal) is desirable.
