The Accountant will serve as a supportive force behind our people and processes. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have impeccable attention to detail. This position will work closely with leaders within our business operations team, providing support that impacts the entire company.
Key Responsibilities- Compile, review, and organize large data sets efficiently.
- Identify and communicate any outdated standard operating procedures.
- Prepare accurate monthly revenue recognition reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage timely customer invoicing to support efficient billing and cash flow.
- Assist with a variety of administrative duties, such as document management, data entry, and report preparation, as needed.
- Proven experience working with and combining multiple data sets.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to maintain focus and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English at an intermediate level, including the ability to read emails, identify required actions, and follow instructions.
- Desire to grow and develop professionally within their role.
- Problem-solving mindset with an interest in process improvement.
- Strong curiosity, a drive to understand the 'why' behind decisions and processes, and a continual desire to seek new knowledge.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Preferred: Diploma or college degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
Work Environment (Onsite Employees)
This is largely a sedentary role, with most of the duties performed on a computer or phone. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Answer multiple emails and phone calls per day
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Proficient/Conversational English (read/write/speak)
- Move throughout the office or workspace when needed
