Job Title - Fragrance Development Director (FDD)Location: Cotia - BrasilJob type: HybridLevel: M16The Fragrance Development Director (FDD) is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the creation, innovation, and strategic direction of fragrance products within the company. This role requires a deep understanding of scents, market trends, consumer preferences, and the technical aspects of fragrance development. The FDD will lead a team of Fragrance Development Managers, working closely with perfumers, sales, technical, consumer insights and marketing teams to create compelling, market-leading fragrances.

Your key responsibilities:Lead the South Latam Evaluation Team to develop and execute fragrance strategies that align with brand goals, market trends, and consumer insights. Lead the development of new fragrance concepts, collaborating with perfumers to create unique and high-quality scents that align with brand and customer needs. Foster a creative and collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence in fragrance development.

Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure fragrance products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, always providing technical expertise and market insights. Oversee the testing and evaluation of fragrance compositions to ensure high performance and stability in final products. Oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring timely delivery and meeting cost and quality objectives.

Manage multiple fragrance development projects concurrently, tracking progress and resolving challenges as they arise. You bring:Previous experience in fragrance development, preferably in Home & Personal Care category;Experience in evaluating fragrances, including technical knowledge of ingredients, blending techniques, and market trends.

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate development projects. In-depth understanding of global fragrance trends, as well as the ability to anticipate market shifts and adapt fragrance development strategies accordingly. Ability to communicate ideas effectively with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, as well as negotiate to achieve innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
