Within QBS, Platform Strategy Management is a global team composed of around 30 people in 6 different locations that performs 4 different functions:

● Platform Strategy Definition & Oversight

● GM Transformation Program Ownership

● Program & Project Management on GM Transformation Initiatives

● Support to GM´s Core Cross Asset Systems

About the job

We are looking for a Platform Management Specialist to join our team in Brazil. This role blends hands-on strategic program & project management with functional support of front-office (FO) platforms, helping to shape and deliver the business agenda for Global Markets across our local bank, global entity, and multimarket fund.

1. Program & Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate front-to-back-to-risk-to-reporting the ambitious product development plan in securities and derivatives products onshore.
  • Coordinate and lead global and local stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Operations, IT, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Compliance in order to deliver the product development agenda.
  • Translate business needs into actionable project plans and drive delivery under agile methodologies.
  • Bring seniority and criteria to help solve blocking points during the product development plan.

2. Functional Support for Front-Office Platforms

  • 1st line functional support to FO teams in the usage and optimization of Murex 3, focusing on:
  • FX and Interest Rate Derivatives (IRD) across multiple legal entities.
  • Pricing, curve construction, etradepad, valuation, and P&L modules .
  • Liaison with technical support teams on technical issues raised in the aforementioned systems.
  • Work closely with traders and sales teams to ensure efficient use of trading platforms and provide training required.
  • Identify weaknesses and opportunities in both processes and systems and proactively suggest remediation plans.

What We're Looking For

● At least 4 years of experience in financial markets, ideally within front-office support, project management, or platform implementation.

● Academic background in Engineering, Maths, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. MBA, Master Degree in Finance or other official certifications (CFA, FRM,etc.) desirable.

● Strong understanding of Murex 3, especially in FO-related modules and derivative products (FX and IRD). Additional Front Office Tools knowledge (ie. Bloomberg) desirable.

● Familiarity with the Brazilian financial markets and BRL-denominated products is a strong plus.

● Proven track record managing cross-functional transformation initiatives.

● Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills.

● Agile project delivery experience is highly desirable.

● Fluent in English, Portuguese and/or Spanish desirable.
