Technical Service Specialist (Laboratory Technician)

Location: Brazil (Barueri) -Alphaville

Position: Full Time, Salaried

We have an opportunity for a Technical Service Specialist to join out Arrow Specialties Nomex/Kevlar technical services team.

As part of the strategic transformation of our Aramids business, we are investing in the future and expanding our technical capabilities in Brazil. We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our team and support the Kevlar Defense product line, focusing on laboratory operations and coordination of application development projects.

This is a role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across diverse internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, and will be passionate about delivering value through innovation and technical excellence.

If you join our team, key activities may include:

  • Develop, implement, adapt and / or carry out internal and external (external laboratories) tests, providing customer support, following best practices on quality, safety and environmental control standards;
  • Interpret manuals, prepare technical documentation routine and analysis procedures;
  • Manage samples receipt, control and disposal of waste related to tests under your responsibility;
  • Preparation of reports with analysis under the guidance of the Technical Specialist of the business unit;
  • Prepare the necessary material for the analyzes under your responsibility, guaranteeing the functionality of the equipment and the materials necessary for its execution;
  • Work close to regional Technology Manager and Lab Coordinator on ongoing tasks follow up the right execution.
  • Active collaborate with the Regional tech community about the Once Lab concept.

Qualifications expected for this role:

  • Have a Technical Education compiled in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computing or Chemistry;
  • Have an intermediate written and oral skills in English and Spanish language are an advantage;
  • Knowledge and skills in using the MS Office Package (Intermediate level);
  • Have a Quality Management System Training will be a differential;
  • Have a NR35 Training will be a differential;
  • Ability to innovate and adapt to a rapidly changing market and business environments. Willing to learn and work in a chemical processing environment and wear required PPE, practice safety protocols and collaborate with site environmental health and safety teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills; embracing diversity; collaborative; business results-driven
  • Capable of turning complex into simple problems through effective communication to either small audiences.
